I know I shouldn’t be ranting on ATLA pairings since the series ended years ago but whatever

Here goes…

Everyone knows that Kataang was end game, whoever thinks different has never watched the show
I am one of those shippers who like fanon pairings, I wasn’t ever really a Kataang shipper in the first place. Here how I think the pairing should have ended:

Sukka was an endgame pairing so I don’t really mind that, they liked each other in the 1st book

I thought Taang made some sense because they are the same age (kind of) and for some reason, they seem like they could end up as a couple

Zutara. Where do I start? Well, they did have some moments and people say opposites attract. I prefer that over Kataang but I think too many people like it. I’ve heard of Zutara week and other things like that, fanfiction.net is flooding with it. It’s most likely one of the most loved ships in the entire ATLA fandom. 

And now Legend of Korra…

Makorra. It could be the new Zutara or a pairing in which the boy cannot make up his mind about who he likes while the girl suffers from jealousy. Yep, I like to think that Mako is an indecisive idiot. ALL. THE TIME.

Borra is one of those ‘the boy loves the girl so much but the girl is oblivious to it’ pairings. It’s a love pairing, not lust. I like to think of Bolin as a sweet, fun, loving guy who would do anything for his girl. I want a boyfriend like that. Korra should realize it eventually, Bolin would be happy and not have to gross-sob anymore.

Asami is really sweet and badass, I think Masami is a lovely pairing. A little love here, a little lust there. I don’t mind it at all. Now if Korra would stop being jealous…

Jinoochy has entirely been brought up by fans, I only heard about it a couple weeks ago. I guess it’s okay but I don’t think Tenzin would like Jinora hanging out with kids like Skoochy.

Amorra. No, just no. Who came up with that? Were they on drugs? You never pair the hero with the villain, it’s too crack to exist. 

Tahorra would be okay, for me it would be a more friendship-type love. I’m not sure if Tahno would have reala relationship with the uh-vatar during what he’s been through.
